Resume Builder & ATS Scorer

Build a job-ready resume, score it against any job description, and fix the gaps before you apply.

Building your resume

Go to Resume Builder and fill in your experience, education, skills, and projects. CareerLift formats everything in a clean, ATS-friendly layout. Export as PDF or DOCX when ready.

ATS scoring

Paste a job description into the ATS Scorer tab. CareerLift compares your resume against it and returns a score (0–100), matched keywords, missing keywords, and keyword density analysis. Most companies' ATS systems reject resumes scoring below 60.

What the score means

Above 80: strong keyword alignment, your resume will pass most ATS filters. 60–79: borderline β€” add 4–6 missing keywords in context. Below 60: likely getting filtered before a human sees it. The fix is almost always adding missing keywords within existing bullet points.

Tailoring your resume for a role

Click "Tailor for this job" in Job Search results. CareerLift rewrites your bullet points to include the exact keywords and phrasing from that job description, without making your resume look keyword-stuffed.

Exporting your resume

Export as PDF (clean, print-ready) or DOCX (editable in Word or Google Docs). Both formats preserve ATS compatibility. Avoid headers, tables, or images in your resume β€” these break most ATS parsers.
